Spruce Wood Pulp Bannetons

Bulka spruce bannetons are handmade in Germany from sustainably sourced European spruce wood pulp. Spruce is a softwood with long fibers, and its pulp makes a sturdy, naturally fibrous banneton with a distinctive surface texture. Like all wood pulp, it's naturally porous and absorbs moisture from the surface of the dough during proofing. Choose round, oval or rectangular, in smooth, groove or waffle patterns, sized by baked loaf weight from 500g to 2kg.
